This grid shows all 99 Iowa counties and whether or not the regular local option tax or
the school local option tax should be collected. Keep in mind that the regular local
option tax may or may not be collected countywide. The school local option tax is
always applied countywide.
You may use this grid to submit with your sales or use tax return. However, we always
encourage filers to use the preprinted form we send them whenever possible, as it has
automated information already typeset for use by our computers.
