WINTERLAND SKI AND BOARD
Salomon X-Country boot Sizing Chart
Sizing cross-country ski boots is more like sizing street shoes or hiking boots, where you go for
something more comfort oriented. Skate skiers and Nordic racers look for a boot that is sized so
that their toes just lightly brush against the end of the boot. Recreational skiers look for
something with a little more toe space, which gives the added benefit of warmth and comfort.
Getting the right fit requires planning for the type of skiing you are doing and wearing the
appropriate socks.
**Make sure that the boots are designed to match the bindings on your skis. Cross-country ski
boots can use a 75-mm attachment, NNN (New Nordic Norm) or SNS (Salomon Nordic System)
connections that attach the boots to the bindings, and they are all incompatible with one another.
