OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the
world and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD CORE VALUES
Prayer – We are committed to prayer. We will actively seek God’s will and direction for our ministry and the needs
of others.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray continually.”

Luke 18:1 – “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give

up.”
Offering our best – We are committed to doing our best with the resources available to us. We endeavour to
achieve the highest quality in all we do.
Ephesians 6:6 – “Obey them not only to win their favour when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ,

doing the will of God from your heart.”
Colossians 3:17 – “And whatever you do, whether in word of deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,

Honesty and integrity – We will be truthful and consistently strive to be above reproach. We will affirm God
honouring behaviour and will confront that which is inconsistent with this value in truth and love.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that all true believers are members of His
body, the Church.

We believe that the ministry of evangelism is a responsibility of both the church and each Christian.
