Visa Regulations for Nepal

1. All foreign nationals require a Visa for entry into Nepal. The requirements for

obtaining a Visa are as follows:

a. One completed Visa Application form with one passport-size photograph

b. Applicant’s valid passport (The validity of the passport should not be less

than six months at the date of application for Visa)

c. Visa fees

1) 15 – day multiple entries – HK$ 200

2) 30 – day multiple entries – HK$ 320

3) 90 – day multiple entries – HK$ 800

2. People visiting Nepal for the second time or more within a year will be issued 30

Days Visa provided the previous stay did not exceed 120 days.

3. Holder of valid passport (with validity not less than six months) can obtain Visa upon

arrival at Kathmandu Airport as well. The fees are as follows:

1. 15 – day multiple entries – US$ 25

2. 30 – day multiple entries – US$ 40

90 – day multiple entries – US$ 100

Visa Hours / Working Days

Visa Application and Collection Time: 9:30 am –12:30 pm

Monday to Friday except official and some Nepali holidays as notified by the Consulate

General of Nepal.

Notes

1. Visa processing time will be two working days.

2. Once a Visa has been issued, it will not be cancelled or refunded.
