Number four plastic bags 1 through 4.

Use a cotton swab to coat leaves with petroleum jelly,
like this.
Leaf 1: Cover both surfaces of the leaf with petroleum jelly.
Leaf 2: Cover only the top surface of the leaf.
Leaf 3: Cover only the bottom surface of the leaf.
Leaf 4: Do not cover either surface.

Put each leaf in its numbered bag. Seal the bags, and put
them in a warm place.

Examine the bags after several hours. Examine them again
every other day for two weeks. In the chart below, record
how much water condensed on the inside of each bag.
