experiments. Have the adult sign your paper.

Put a can of soda in a heavy duty plastic bag and seal it.
What do you think will happen when it freezes? Write your
prediction. On another sheet of paper, draw a picture of
what the can looks like before the experiment. Put your
experiment in the freezer overnight. Draw what it looks like
the next day, after the experiment.

Fill a small plastic container with a snap-on lid (such as a
film canister) with water. Do not use a screw-on lid!
Fill the container completely. Seal the lid and place the
container in a plastic bag. What do you think will happen
when it freezes? Write your prediction. On another sheet of
paper, draw a picture of what the can looks like before the
experiment. Put your experiment in the freezer overnight.
Draw what it looks like the next day, after the experiment.
