dangerous places.

violent groups. Children have seen and experienced terrible things. Pray for God’s great

healing, hope and protection for them.

: Many Christian children in Nigeria and their families have had to run away from their

homes to keep safe. Ask God to give them food and water, clothes, Bibles, shelter, medical

care and education. Ask God to give them Christians to pray with them and care for them and

show Jesus’ love.

: Praise and thank God that 21 Christian girls kidnapped in Chibok, Nigeria, were set

free in October. More than 270 girls – mostly Christians – were taken away from their

school by Muslim extremists in 2014. Ask God to heal the girls who have been released and

to look after and set free all the other girls so they can return home.

: Thank and praise God for healing Danjuma, a boy in Nigeria. He was hurt very badly by

people who do not want Christians to believe in or follow Jesus. Ask God to continue to heal

him and keep him and his family safe. Ask God to use him to bring the love and joy of Jesus

to many other children and adults.

: Dear Father God, Thank You for Jesus! Thank You for sending Your Son to live with us

and save us. Thank You for loving me so much! I pray that every persecuted child and young

person would know Your great love and hope in 2017. May Your great love shine into the

darkest, scariest places, bringing Your light, hope and protection. Give Your children joy and

make them brave, knowing there is no one and nothing more powerful than You!
