Class- VIII
English:
1. (i) Reading section of BBC (pg-3 to 35)
(ii) Grammar Exercise G-8 to G-16 (Pg-140 to Pg-157, Tense, BBC) Fill all the answers to the
given exercises in BBC itself with pencil only.
2. Read Unit-2 and Unit-3 of MCB and solve the exercise in practice copy.
3. Write a diary entry about what happened or what you did when one of your friend got
injured.

1. On a map of India, mark and colour the areas where tribal rebellions against the British
took place for or against it. Do practice in map practice book (book page no-50)
2. On a map of India, colour the areas under the Permanent Settlement, the Ryotwari system
and the Mahalwari system (book page no.-38)
3. Collect pictures of different farming practices and prepare a project file. Write informative
captions under each picture.
4. Collect pictures of the first President, Prime Minister and Council of Ministers of
independent India and paste them in your project file.
Maths:
1. Learn tables 2 to 25 and write two times in class work notebook.
2. Revise Ch-1,2,3 and do chapter ‘check- up’ in practice copy.
3. Make a model or chart on any topic of Maths.
Science

Check the packets of different types of atleast 14-15 food items (such as chips,
biscuits, butter, chocolates, milk, jam, ketchup etc.) and complete the following table in your
scrap-book:
