HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS

Honorably Discharged Veterans, spouses and dependants may qualify for resident status. Eligible

students can submit a copy of one’s DD-214 and present Military ID to the Office of the Registrar for

review. This status is eligible for the College Opportunity Fund (COF).

ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY

Non-resident active duty military personnel and their dependents may qualify for resident status by

providing certification from base personnel office that confirms student’s status as active duty with a

permanent duty station in Colorado. Student must also present military or dependent ID card from a

branch of the U.S. Armed Services. This status is eligible for COF.

TEMPORARY DUTY MILITARY

Members of TDY (Temporary Duty) orders to Colorado and their dependents qualify for in-state tuition

by providing documentation of assignment or orders and present Military ID. This status is not eligible

for COF.

DEADLINE: This form must be submitted NO LATER than the first day of class of the applicable

academic term. You must re-submit documentation to Student Services for each year that you wish to be

classified as a resident, or until you prove to be a Colorado resident as per state guidelines.
