4AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE NJ CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES
Ira J. Metrick, Attorney At Law, LLC, whose address is 57 West Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728, referred to as the "Law Firm".
1. Legal Services to Be Provided.
You agree that the Law Firm will represent you for the sole purpose of providing a child support estimate based
upon the New Jersey Child Support Guidelines and the information you provide. This office does not represent
you in any dispute between you and your spouse or significant other.
2. Other Legal Services.
The Law Firm will not provide advice or representation regarding: grounds for divorce, custody of children, rights
to visit children, domestic violence proceedings, payments for alimony or child support, the division of property
between you and your spouse and the payment of counsel fees and costs, or court appearances.
3. Legal Fees.
The Law Firm shall be paid $139.00 to prepare one (1) set of child support guidelines. The Law Firm shall be paid
$69.00 for each additional set of child support guidelines for you. The Law Firm shall be paid in full prior to
providing services.
4. Refusal to Provide Services By The Law Firm.
The Law Firm may refuse to provide services if you do not fully cooperate with the Law Firm and provide all
information, or for any other reason which the Law Firm, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems appropriate. In
any event the Law Firm refuses to provide services, legal fees shall be refunded.
5. No Guarantee.
The Law Firm agrees to provide New Jersey Child Support Guidelines, based upon the information you provide.
The Law Firm does not guarantee that the guidelines provided will be what a court will order. A court can
disregard the guidelines or adjust the amount of child support for good cause. Good cause can consist of: 1) The
considerations set forth within the applicable rules, or the presence of other relevant factors which may make the
guidelines inapplicable or subject to modification, or 2) The fact that an injustice would result from the
application of the guidelines.
6. Signatures.
You have read and agree to this Agreement. The Law Firm has answered all of your questions and fully explained
this Agreement to your complete satisfaction. You have been given a copy of this Agreement.
