______4. Brake fluid DOT 3 or better, brakes have been bled for this event.

SUSPENSION

_____1. No excessive looseness in steering or suspension.

_____2. No suspension pieces bent, excessively corroded or cracked

_____3. Sway bars securely mounted with good drop links/hardware.

_____4. Shock absorbers firm with no leaks.

_____5. Axle bolts tight, boots not leaking or split, no excessive play.

TIRES AND WHEELS

_____1. Tire has 40% or more of the original depth with even wear.

_____2. Tire rating is H (130 mph) or better. (absolute minimum)

_____3. Tires are free of cuts/cracks/repair plugs.

_____4. Tires are no more than 5 years old.

_____5. All tires are the same make and model….no mix and match.

_____6. Wheels are free of cracks or bends.

EXHAUST SYSTEM

_____1. All connections secure, all suspension points attached.

_____2. No holes in any pipe or muffler.

_____3. Corrosion is not excessive, heat shields securely connected.
