1) Begin each note with the tongue as in whispering the word "too".

2) To play the scale, cover both holes on the back of the ocarina
with the
thumbs & breathe gently into the mouthpiece. Looking at the chart,
RIGHT THUMB
progress down the scale closing one hole at a time: 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.
The holes must be completely covered in order for the lower notes
LEFT THUMB
to speak.
3) Memorize the fingerings and scale numbers.
4) To play the songs on the back cover, match the numbers above the
words to the fingerings on the chart.
