Literature 6 – Reading Log
One of the requirements for my class is to simply read for 15 (or more) minutes each weeknight. My students can choose any book as long as (1) they have
never read the book before and (2) is at their approximate reading level. Help your child find a quiet, comfortable place to do this reading and sign this log
each night when they finish. Please help me keep the integrity of this assignment by being honest with signatures. If your child fails to read on a particular
evening, help him or her understand that consequences and honesty are necessary parts of life.
It is your child’s responsibility to find you after reading, not the other way around!
