EMT Licensure Renewal Requirements
Include:
EMS License
1.
A signed child support declaration
(renewal notice).
Renewals
2. A total of 120 hours of approved
continuing medical education, seminars
and workshops, addressing both adult
and pediatric care.
3. A copy of your current cardiopulmonary
resuscitation certification for health
care providers.
4. Approval by the EMS medical director.
Note: If you are an independent, you also
must complete an EMS independent renewal
application. Your renewal request will be
reviewed by the Illinois Department of Public
Health, Division of EMS and Highway Safety.
