Donation Request from the Montana Food Bank Network

The Montana Food Bank Network is pleased to announce our newest event, The Taste. The Taste will be held on March

4, 2016 at Neptune Aviation from 5 – 9pm. The event features over 60 varieties of “tastes” (samples) from local

restaurants, breweries, distilleries, & wineries. We are also offering a silent auction & raffle to raise money to support

the programs & services of MFBN.

On behalf of MFBN, a committee has been formed to seek out potential businesses such as yours to get involved at The

Taste. We are in search of silent auction and raffle prizes big and small and have several opportunities to be recognized

for any generous donations as well as a receipt with our tax ID#.

We are requesting donations of goods and/or services for our silent auction valued from $150 – Priceless. A one of a

kind experience interacting with your company or services has the potential to be a highly sought after item at the

auction and an opportunity for consumers to view your business in a whole new way.

We are also holding a unique raffle that guarantees everyone an initial prize and provides an option to be entered in for a

larger “Grand Prize” drawing! For the raffle we are requesting items with the value of $20 - $150.

All contributors will be recognized on our event website and in our printed event program (if LOI is submitted on or

before 2/5/2016). Contributors that donate a total value of $500 or more worth of good and/or services will also

receive 2 complimentary VIP event tickets and an opportunity to display brochures or business cards at the event info

table.

We thank you for your time and consideration for this request. We strive to build strong partnerships in our community

and throughout the state. Every $1 that we raise through our organization can provide enough food to distribute 3 meals.

The Montana Food Bank Network, located at 5625 Expressway, Missoula MT, secures and distributes donated and low cost food and

grocery products to over 200 hunger relief agencies throughout Montana. The Network works to meet the immediate need for food while

advocating at the local, state, and national level for policy changes to help eliminate hunger and food insecurity in Montana. The
