These three sharp symbols placed at the beginning of the stave is known as a key signature.
This is telling us that in this tune where we play any F, C or G notes - they are raised to F sharp, C sharp and G sharp.
If you play a major scale of A, you will notice that you have to play three black buttons
(C sharp, F sharp and G sharp in ascending order) to make the scale sound correct.
