► Chauffeurs should know the tier and the age of the taxicab vehicle they lease. For a list of approved taxicab

vehicles classified by tier number, please visit .

► “Vehicle Age” is the age of a vehicle computed by totaling the number of years in between and including both the

calendar year and the model year. (Examples: In the calendar year 2016, a vehicle model year of 2016 = vehicle

age of 1 year and a vehicle model year of 2013 = vehicle age of 4 years.)

► MCC §9-112-230 – effective JAN. 1, 2016 - Additional GTT & Accessibility Fund Maximum Fees:

(1) maximum of $2.50 for a 12-Hour Daily Lease; (2) maximum of $17.50 for a 12-Hour Weekly Lease;

(3) maximum of $5.00 for a 24-Hour Daily Lease; or (4) maximum of $35.00 for a 24-Hour Weekly Lease.

► MCC §9-112-600 – Taxi chauffeurs pay a maximum per day fee of $4.50 towards worker’s compensation

insurance coverage.

► The above listed maximum lease rates do not include permissible additional charges for security deposits, bonds,

optional collision damage waiver and optional supplemental liability insurance.

► If a Medallion Only Lease, write “MO” in the “Vehicle Tier Number” box on Page 1 of this form.

MCC §9-112-240 – A Medallion License Only Lease Agreement is $275.00 per week for use on a non-wheelchair

accessible vehicle OR $350.00 per week if the medallion is for use on a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

► MCC §9-112-180 and §9-112-190 - Medallion owners, managers, and affiliations are prohibited from using

discriminatory or retaliatory practices towards public chauffeurs.
