Welcome to The Skeptic, the UK’s foremost and longest-running skeptical magazine, devoted to a

skeptical and irreverent look at claims of the paranormal and pseudo-science. Just some of the

topics covered: UFOs, alien abductions, ghosts, the ‘New Age’, alternative medicine, miraculous

healing, astrology, cults, cold fusion, crop circles, crystals, mediums, the Turin Shroud, Earth

mysteries, psychic detectives, magic, the occult... the list is almost endless!

The Skeptic, a quarterly magazine founded in 1987, includes news, comment, investigations,

feature articles, columns, humour, reviews of books and events, and much more. Issues have

included articles by Richard Wiseman, Susan Blackmore, Simon Hoggart, Rupert Sheldrake,

Mark Vernon, Julian Baggini, James Randi and many others.

The magazine also receives backing from an international Editorial Advisory Board of individuals
