The week before

Clothes, shoes, extra shoes, bath towels, hats

Swimsuits, beach towels, water shoes

Sunscreen, bug spray

Large and/or small coolers

Life vests for kids & adults, canoe/kayak, paddles

Chairs, tables, EZ-up gazebos

Fishing rods, tackle box

Water in jugs, water in camper tank

Firewood

Camp Chef burner, fake logs, extra propane tank

Reading material, DVDs

Dog water bowl, food, leash, cage

Non-perishable food, alcohol

Arrange house sitter for mail, cats, dog, plants

The day before

Kid’s bikes, helmets

Plug in camper, camper fridge on AC mode, hook up battery

Cargo tray, generator, gas can, lacquer thinner

Check supply of toilet paper, paper towels

Move perishable food to camper fridge

Move thermometer and remote sensor to camper fridge and truck

Check fluids in truck

Camper lug nut torque

Tire pressure on camper to max, check pressure on truck

Install TVs in truck, if needed

Clean cat boxes, water plants

Camera & charger

Volt meter

Pay bills

The day of

EZ-PASS, sunglasses from our cars

Pillows, toiletries including inhaler

Computers, computer chargers, cell phone chargers

Take out trash, dirty dishes in dishwasher and run it

Feed/water cats with extra food and water

Camper fridge on DC or gas mode, camper keys, close windows/vent

Water heater off (via the breaker in “Generator Sub-Panel”)

Fresh air handler off

Thermostats up or down (make sure you press “HOLD” button)

Flush all toilets
