Decide on prizes for the winners of the games

These really don’t need to be extravagant. Dollar store candles, and other trinkets are great

Make sure you have enough prizes ready, and have some extra’s on hand just in case

Order/plan for the cake

Make sure you check with the bakery of your choice at least 2 weeks before the shower

•

Find out time frames and when the bakery needs your order in by

Shop for the Shower – Take your lists!

Shop for the menu

•

Shop for the prizes for the games

•

Shop for decorations

•

Shop for plates, napkins, cups, utensils

Prepare/Pick Up any food/beverages/cake the day before the shower



Some items can be prepared earlier, and some you may need to wait until the day of the shower



If you are ordering food or having it made, make sure you order it with plenty of time

Put together prize bags, or any other goodie or gift bags



Keep them together so you know where and what they are

Make sure the venue is ready to go

If you’re hosting the shower at your own home, make sure your house is clean!

•

Make sure there will be enough seating for your guests to be comfortable

•

Decorate for the shower

•

If you are having the baby shower someplace other than your home, make sure the reservations are ready and set

Host the Baby Shower!
