I ______________________________ understand as a representative of Miami

Palmetto Senior High School, I must follow all the rules and regulations governing

Miami Palmetto Senior High School and Miami Dade County Public Schools when

participating on any school field trip.

Students must dress according to school guidelines or as required by the

specific trip.

Students must be present in school for at least ½ of the school day for any trip

beginning after school hours.

Students must not have excessive unexcused absences in any class.

Any misbehavior on school trip will be dealt with by the administration following

the Student Code of Conduct. This could result in a suspension or expulsion

from future activities and/or expulsion from group or organization for the

remainder of the school year.

Parents and all teachers MUST sign the official permission form.

Any student who has been reprimanded on any previous trip may be excluded

from participating on future trips.

This includes, but is not limited to: Grad Nite, homecoming dance, prom, senior

events, competitions, class/organization events or other club events.

Student must submit all documentation to the sponsor before the trip, on a timely

basis.

NO money for any trip may be collected before approval has been granted for the

trip.

Photo identification, such as school ID, is required on any school field trip.

Student must remain under the direct supervision of the teacher/sponsor

throughout the field trip. Out of county trips require additional rules that

must be adhered to at all times.
