Reading a Time Zone Map
The continental United States is divided into four time zones — Eastern Time,
Central Time, Mountain Time, and Pacific Time. Look at the map. Notice that
each time zone is one hour different from its neighboring zones. If you know the
time in one time zone, you will be able to figure out the time in other zones.
Read the time zone map to complete the chart. The first entry has been done
for you.
