I/we, _____________________________________, understand that a Refund Anticipation

Loan is not a tax refund. It is a loan based upon my/our anticipated tax refund. If I/we

receive a Refund Anticipation Loan, I/we will be obligated to repay it even if I/we do not

receive a tax refund or the refund is less than expected. I/we understand the bank does not

guarantee a tax refund will be issued, when a tax refund might be issued or the amount of

any tax refund.

Furthermore, I/we understand that:

• If eligible for an income tax refund, I/we may choose how I/we file my/our return and

receive my/our refund.

• I/we can file my/our income tax return electronically without applying for a Electronic

Refund Check (ERC) or a Refund Anticipation Loan, and receive my/our refund

directly from the IRS for free.

• I/we can direct the IRS or State to send my/our refund check to me/us or directly

deposit my/our refund to an existing account without applying for a Electronic Refund

Check (ERC) or a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL). The time it takes to get refund

will be approximately the same with either a ERC or an electronically filed return

with direct deposit by the IRS to an existing account.

• I/We can apply for an Electronic Refund Check (ERC) without a Refund Anticipation

Loan. (RAL)

• Bank fees are in addition to tax preparation fees & transmission fees

There is no obligation under this loan agreement unless and/or until the bank offers to enter

into a loan transaction with me/us. Should the bank decline my/our request for the RAL, I/we

understand that I/we will be receive an Electronic Refund Check (ERC) (11-17 day refund

check) and the bank fee will be reduced.

By endorsing the RAL Check I/we am/are thereby accepting the terms of the loan agreement.

I/We promise to pay the bank the amount financed plus the finance charge pursuant to

the terms of the loan regardless of whether a refund is issued by the IRS.
