Flow diagram – example/template
A graphic presentation of a flow of events or a diagram that visually displays the events (transport, handling, procedures etc.) that impact on animal wellbeing in
a project, in a sequential or chronological manner. The flow diagram should include a timeline, monitoring schedule and animal numbers.
For studies where, in addition to a standard set of procedures, there is a variation in the procedures and/or treatments that different groups of animals receive,
a separate flow diagram may be used for each treatment group or the variation can be described in a linked table*.
