brochure and an application for the registration of tattoo letters are available from the CKC at no cost.

If tattoo marking is the preferred method of identification, the dog must be identified with the tattoo series allotted to the U.S. owners by The Canadian

Kennel Club and a serial number. (If the dog is domiciled in the U.S. but registered in the AKC Stud Book as being co-owned by a U.S. resident and

a resident of Canada, the tattoo letters with which the dog is identified must be letters allotted by the CKC for the use of the partnership or the Canadian

co-owner).
