1DUPLICATION TEMPLATE (CD-R/DVD-R/BD-R)
Four Process Colour (CMYK) Artwork:
• Use professional design software such as InDesign or Illustrator.
• Design a white base layer into your artwork. CMYK must be printed over
white else the colours will not render correctly.
• The base layer’s dimensions should be 0.2mm smaller to allow for spread of
the ink. (eg 16-78mm CMYK needs a 16.2-77.8 white base).
• Tonal reproduction is optimal between 15% and 85% density. Higher and
lower values than this range won’t reproduce accurately.
• Print on the area 33-36mm will appear paler than the rest of the disc as
that area is unsilvered.
• Please send a composite print, preferably in colour, with your artwork so
that your design intent is clearly understood.
