VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

Thank you for considering the YMCA as a place to donate your time and talents. Volunteers are vital

to YMCA’s ability to meet youth development, healthy living and social responsibility needs in our

community. As a nonprofit organization with a mission to put Christian principles into practice through

programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, we simply couldn’t do what we do without

volunteers.

Knowing that your time and talents are precious, we want to make sure that your skills and interests are

correctly matched with and the opportunities that are available.

You will find questions on this form about your background, former residences and places of employment.

Even though we may know you well, please understand that we conduct background and reference checks

on all volunteers. It’s just one of the many ways we help protect people served by the YMCA.

Once your application is received, it will be forwarded to the appropriate department head for

consideration of positions within their department.
