NEWSPAPER VENDING MACHINE
REQUEST FOR SPECIAL PERMIT
Borough Ordinance Sec. 28-2.1: It shall be unlawful for any distributor to erect, place, maintain or operate on any street or sidewalk or in any other public way or
place in the Borough any newspaper vending machine without first having obtained a special permit from the Borough Clerk, approved by the Mayor and Council in
accordance with the standards and time period set forth in ordinance 28-2.1(b)(2).
Please take note
that a newspaper vending machine is defined as: any machine, rack, self-service or coin operated box, stand, rack, container, storage unit or any
other dispenser installed, utilized and maintained for the purpose of offering for sale and distribution newspapers, news periodicals, news magazines and any other
similar publications.

machines in the Borough of Princeton. In addition, I have attached the fee of $10.00 for the first vending machine
and $5.00 for each additional vending machine as required in ordinance 28-2.1(d)(f). I understand that this permit is
renewable annually.
