Private/Semi-Private Swim Lesson Information

Thank you for your interest in the Sage YMCA Private/Semi-Private swim lesson program. This

program is for participants ages 3 and up. Please read below for more information re-guarding

our new program policies.

 Lessons are not session-based. You may begin your lessons at any time.

 Your five-lesson package must be completed in 8 weeks.

 Private swim lessons are for one-on-one lessons with an instructor. Semi-private lessons

are for 2-3 swimmers who would like a smaller group setting with an instructor.

 Fill out the attached request form and return it to the Member Service Desk. Private and

semi-private lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first serve basis. Lessons will be

scheduled based on instructor and pool availability.

 The Aquatics Director will contact you to determine a date and time for lessons, based on

your preferences. Once a final decision has been made, you will be able to register at the

Member Service Desk. Payments must be made in full before the first lesson.

 Upon payment, you will be issued a lesson card which must be presented to the instructor

each time you come. He or she will sign and date the card. The Sage YMCA is not

responsible for lost or stolen cards.

 All lessons are 1/2 hour and instructors often have lessons back-to-back. If you are late

for your lesson, we cannot extend your lesson time.



There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.

All cancellations must be made before 6 pm the

day before the lesson, to allow time to contact the instructor and schedule a make-up.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged as a lesson and no

make-up will be scheduled.



Private Lessons (5) 1/2 hour lessons Member $90/ Non-Member $180



Semi-Private Lessons (5) 1/2 hour lessons Member $60 (Price per person)

Non-Member $120
