I have read, understood, and agreed to the following conditions:



Students applying for a deferment agree to repay said deferment by the date specified below.



V.A. deferments are due for repayment 60 days after the first day of class if granted during the

fall or spring terms, or 30 days after the first day of class if granted during the summer term.



Delinquent student V.A. deferment obligations will be turned over to a collection agency, and

the student will be responsible for repaying the amount of the V.A. deferment, and any costs

accrued as a result of submission to a collection agency.



Students using this deferment are responsible for repaying the total amount of tuition/fees

owed for all courses in which registered after the drop/add period by the deadline for payment

regardless of the disbursement date for any financial aid awarded, including veterans benefits.



Students deemed ineligible for aid before or after the drop/add period ends will still owe the full

amount of tuition/fees assessed for the term.



Students who have declared a major that has not been approved for coverage by the V.A.

understand that all tuition/fees will be the student’s responsibility to repay.



Students who are registered for classes which are not necessary for the approved primary major

are responsible for paying for said classes unless specifically approved to do so by his/her V.A.

case manager.



If any other types of financial assistance are awarded, disbursement of these funds will occur

only after the total amount of any unpaid deferments (and any other financial obligations) has

been satisfied in full.



The V.A. deferment is applied to tuition/fees and will not be applicable for books.
