WITNESSETH:
1. For and in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, paid in hand, the party of the
second part agrees to place himself under the management of the party of the first part, and also agrees to take
part in such boxing contests and also give exhibitions of boxing, training and training exercices, otherwise, when-
ever and wherever required by the party of the first part, in such places and in such cities, towns and other places
where the party of the first part, his manager, may from time to time request or direct.
2. It is agreed and understood that the party of the first part, engage the sole of professional services of the party of
the second part, to take part in such boxing contests, and also to give exhibitions of boxing, training exercises and
otherwise, to the best of his skill and ability, at such times and places as aforesaid, that may be required by the
party of the first part.
3. In consideration of this agreement, the parties hereto bind themselves for a period of ________________________
years, for which period this contract and agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
4. The party of the first part bind themselves and agree to use their best efforts to secure remunerative boxing
contests or exhibitions for the party of the second part.
5. It is further agreed that the net proceeds of all boxing contests and exhibitions herein mentioned in this contract
shall be divided as follows: not more than 33-1/3 per cent to the party of the first part, and not less than 66-2/3 per
cent to the party of the second part.
6. The party of the second part binds himself and agrees to faithfully fulfill, and live up to any contract entered into
on his behalf by the party of the first part, during the period covered by this contract and agreement.
7. The party of the second part binds himself and agrees that he shall not, during the continuance of this agreement
and contract, take part in any boxing contests or other exhibitions, or otherwise exercise his talent in any manner,
or place, how or whatsoever, without having first obtained the written permission of his manager the party of the
first part, to do so.
8. The party of the second part shall attend to all training and exercising as his manager, the party of the first part,
shall require, and shall proceed and travel by all trains, autos, boats and other means of conveyance as and when
required by the party of the first part, for the purpose of this agreement.
9. It is understood and agreed that all exhibitions of boxing conducted under this contract in the State of Washington
shall in all respects be in conformity with the laws of the State of Washington and the rules and regulations now or
hereafter adopted by the Department of Licensing, Professional Athletics which said laws and rules are hereby
made a part of and incorporated in this agreement.
10. It is further agreed that in the event the party of the first part shall be suspended by the Department of Licensing,
Professional Athletics, as a manager, and such suspension shall be permanent, this contract in so far as it relates
to contests or exhibitions in the State of Washington, at the option of the second party, shall forthwith terminate.
In the event that such suspension is not permanent, then during the period of such suspension the party of the
second part may contract individually or with another manager for his services and during such period of suspen-
sion the party of the first part shall not be entitled to any percentage of the proceeds of any exhibitions engaged in
by said boxer.
11. For this contract to remain in full force and effect, both parties must maintain a valid license with the Department
of Licensing, Professional Athletics.
This agreement supersedes and takes the place of all previous agreements.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The parties hereto have hereunto set their hands and affixed their legal name in
triplicate this day and year first written above.
