PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY! A Certificate of Occupancy (CO) is required for any business that has changed

ownership or changed location. A CO must also be issued when the type of business changes even though the location and ownership

remain the same. New businesses moving into an existing building or tenant space that will not be significantly modified must fill out this

application to receive a CO. New structures, and existing commercial tenant space undergoing modifications that require a building

permit will receive a CO upon completion of final inspections. If you have any questions, please call our office at 303-538-7250. Submit

this application to the above mailing address with a floor plan showing the use of each area, dimensions and a site plan showing all parking,

buildings, suites, etc. After the documents are reviewed, the Building Inspection staff will notify you that the permit is ready to issue.
