Your 1998 estimated tax liability must be secured by one of the following methods:

Prepayment of Total Estimated Tax. Enclose a check payable to the Alaska Department of Revenue in an amount equal to the estimated tax.
Letter of Credit (LOC) in an amount equal to the estimated tax.
Time Certificate of Deposit (TCD) in an amount equal to the estimated tax.
Fisheries Business Tax Bond. The amount of the bond must be equal to twice the estimated tax.
Bonding company must complete form #04-062 to attach to application.
Lienable Real Property. A title search (current within 30 days of the application) must be attached, along with either a current property tax
assessment notice OR independent market appraisal. The lienable value of the real property must be equal to at least three times the
estimated tax.
