Special Instructions:
Please contact the clinic if any your pet seems unwell or the eye
condition appears to be deteriorating (increasing discharge, redness or squinting/pain).
Any eye discharge should be gently cleaned away with a wet tissue or cotton ball prior to
treatment using clean water or saline.
If multiple eye treatments are required, eye drops should be applied before ointments.
Different eye medications should be applied at least 10 minutes apart so that one does not
wash out the other.
Steroid eye drops (such as Predforte or Maxidex or Maxitrol) should be discontinued and the
clinic contacted if the eye seems suddenly worse - red, painful or increased discharge.
