Responsible for acting as Lead Civil Engineer on water and wastewater treatment, collection, storage, pipeline
and pumping schemes as well as supervising a team of technicians and graduate engineers in the production of
feasibility studies, detail designs and construction drawings, specifications and technical reports.
Duties:
Providing fit for purpose engineering solutions for complex projects.
Maintaining an up to date technical knowledge of survey, design, drafting, project and contract
management standards and techniques.
Undertaking appropriate research and investigation into any design modifications / improvements.
Inspecting works in progress or at completion for final compliance and quality assurance grading.
Acting as designer on a variety of rail and infrastructure design projects.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications.
Providing support in the preparation of technical reports, cost estimates and contract documentation.
Assisting with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensuring that these are fully adhered to.
