a. Purpose and Problem statement: to get agreement about why the project
is needed and to define the problem.
b. Main deliverables: to decide what the project is going to deliver
c. Measures of success: what do we need to measure/know about the process
before and after the project. PIU has three standard measures:Process
Time, Customer satisfaction, and hard costs (not including opportunity
costs)
2. Who are we doing it for?
a. Voice of the Customer: who is the customer of the process/processes?
What are their requirements?

a. Stakeholders and benefits - who are they and what’s in it for them
