Let It Snow Wall Hanging

Begin by preparing the fabric for

the front of the wall hanging.

Use an air-erase pen to draw a

12" x 14" rectangle on the

flannel. Leave at least 1" of

excess fabric around the shape.

Measure and make marks 1/2"

up along each side edge starting

at the bottom corners. Draw a

line connecting the marks. This

is where the snowman will be

positioned to "peek" from the

bottom of the wall hanging.

Print a template of the snowman

design from embroidery software

and trim the template, cutting

right along the bottom edge of

the design. Cut around the side

and top, leaving about 1" of

excess around the design.

If you do not have embroidery

software that makes templates,

Wilcom's TrueSizer

is a free

program to use.

Place the template along the line

you drew on the fabric.

Center the template side to side.

Mark the center point, as well as

the vertical and horizontal axis

points.

Remove the template and draw

lines connecting the marks.
