This is a workbook for learning over 7,000 compound and hyphenated words. It is not a
reference book; please consult your standard dictionary to look up compound or hyphenated
words.
Learning these words is fun and easy. You will learn most of them by simply looking at them. If
you insist on memorizing all of them, you will need to read each group of words aloud as many
times as needed until you memorize their spelling. The 7,000 words are prepared for you to
simply look at or read and learn. For instance, 106 compound words and 29 hyphenated words
that begin with an “a” are prepared for you, colored, and listed on three pages.
