LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Attached to the Bill of Sale. For new subdivisions list the
Plat Book and Page. If older platted area: list lots, blocks and Plat Book and Page,
which will receive utility service.
Note: IF A WATER, WASTEWATER LINE AND/OR RECLAIMED WATER
LINE IS INSTALLED IN AN EXISTING SUBDIVISION OR SINGLE STREET
AND THE DEVELOPER DID NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE OR LATERAL TO
EVERY LOT, THE LOTS WHICH WILL RECEIVE SERVICE ARE THE
ONLY ONES THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE LEGAL
DESCRIPTION.
5.
CONTRACTUAL WARRANTY and GUARANTEE: A one year warranty on the
installation of the water, reclaimed water and/or wastewater line from the
individual or company who performed the work (Form Attached).
6.
LIST OF CUSTOMERS/OWNERS OF LOTS: Provide a list of the properties, which
will receive the developer installed service. It is necessary for us to know if any
properties are already sold or if others have helped contribute to the lines so that
they can have the reduced connection fee. This is required only in areas that were
previously platted or on any off-site construction.
7.
RECORDED EASEMENTS: Easements must be provided by the developer in all
cases where facilities are not located within existing easements, dedicated by plat
or public rights of way. All easements are exclusive water, reclaimed water and/or
wastewater line easements. Easement descriptions should be centerline
descriptions or actual metes and bounds descriptions, where applicable. All water
line easements will specify that the County shall not be responsible for
replacement of pavement in areas where waterline is under pavement. (Minimum
easement width shall be twenty feet). If the project will have a recorded plat, the
easements need to be included in the plat. A certificate from the engineer stating
that the utility facilities are located within platted easements must be submitted. A
copy of the recorded plat must be submitted for this office to verify easement
locations with approved as-built drawings on file.
