BUSINESS FRANCHISE TAX
If your Business Franchise Tax liability is expected to be at least $12,000 per year after tax credits,
estimated tax payments are required and due in four equal installments on the 15th day of the fourth,
sixth, ninth and twelfth months of the tax year. At least 90% of the tax liability is required. The
correct WV account identification number must be shown on each payment voucher to ensure proper
processing of the payments.

CORPORATE NET INCOME TAX
If West Virginia taxable income is expected to be at least $10,000 when the annual income tax return is
filed, estimated payments of the Corporate Income Tax liability are required and due in four equal
installments on the 15th day of the fourth, sixth, ninth and twelfth months of the tax year. At least 90%
of the tax liability is required.
