Chart Your Experience
You may not know it, but you’ve been preparing for this trip your whole life.
In Girl Scouts, there is a crawl-before-you-walk approach to travel. This
means that, depending on the trip you’re going on, you should have already
had some travel experience through Girl Scouts. You’ll also have valuable
life experience—family trips, camping, school activities, responsibilities, and
volunteering—to draw from.
Below, write about your experiences as well as the skills you’ve gained. It’s
important to catalog your skills because you’ll be using them on your
upcoming trip.
