• Sits besides the bride and groom at the head table (optional)
• Toasts the Bride and Groom
• Responsible to get people on the dance floor
• Assists bride in changing into going away clothes
• Coordinates a to-go box of food from the reception for bride and groom to take with them
• Responsible for getting all of personal décor items & accessories packed and back to the bride and
groom after the wedding (if you don’t have a coordinator doing this)
Best Man
Prior to the Wedding
• Assists in selecting formal wear with the groom
• Pays for his own attire (optional)
• Coordinates the formal wear fittings, final fittings, and picks up formal wear
• Assists with honeymoon plans
• Attends the ceremony rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
• Holds Bachelor Party
Day of Wedding
• Assists groom with attire and makes sure groom is to the ceremony site by the designated time
• Holds the bride’s wedding ring
• Coordinates groomsmen and ushers, making sure they are where they should be at the right time
