LEASE AGREEMENT

This agreement is entered into on Date: __/ ___/____, between GSDSW, a non-profit corporation, here-

inafter referred to as Girl Scouts, and ___________________________, hereinafter referred to a Lessee.

The parties agree to the following:

The Girl Scouts agree to lease ______________________________________________(buildings,

units, tents, barn) , located at Camp Mitre Peak, 200 Camp Mitre Peak Rd, Alpine, TX.

The term of this lease is for_______day(s) beginning on ________, at _________ am and terminating on

_________, at _____________am.

This will include set up and cleanup time.

The total deposit under this lease is $__________. The lessee shall pay the Girl Scouts said amount

in the following manner: Payment by check to Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest, 5217 N Dixie, Odes-

sa, TX 79762, payable at time of reservation. No reservation will be made without deposit. No refund or

lease payment will be refunded unless at least 5 days notice in writing is received for cancellation.

The total lease amount under this lease is ___________. The total of lease amount is due and paya-

ble at least 4 weeks prior to reserved date. Any lease made less than four weeks in advance will be paid

in full at time of reservation. The lease will not be in effect unless all monies are paid as stated.

The premises are to be used for the purpose of a _______________________. Approximate number

of participants is ______ youths ________ adult. Lessee will restrict its uses to such propose and shall

not use or permit the use of the premises for any other purpose without the written consent of the Girl

Scouts.

Lessee agrees, with respect to whatever facility this lease might cover, as follows:

To pay any and all damages that might be incurred while utilizing the facility.

To provide its own leadership and staff.

To abide by all applicable rules provided by Girl Scouts.

To leave the premises, inside and out at least as clean as you found it.

To do a walk through with appropriate staff or camp host and note any damage, stains, etc. that was

present prior to your lease date.

To provide all toiletries, paper goods, equipment, etc. that you may need.

To make arrangements with staff prior to use of any items you may request to use i.e. chairs, tables,

kitchen ware, etc.

If requested by Lessor, to provide public liability insurance against claims by any person injured

while on premises or while using the premises or facilities during the term of the lease. Such insurance

shall be written by a company approved by lessor in an amount not less than $250,000.00 per person or

$500,000.00 per accident. Confirmation of coverage for the period of said lease shall be supplied to the

Girl Scouts 4 weeks prior to event.

Lessee shall not use the premises in any manner that will increase risks covered by insurance on the

premises nor shall lessee do anything prohibited by any policy of fire insurance covering the premises

and shall comply with all requirements of insurers applicable to the premises necessary to keep fire and

liability insurance in force.

Lessee shall not allow any waste of or any nuisance to exist on the premises and agrees not to use or

allow premises to be used for any unlawful purpose.

Lessee has examined and knows the condition of the demised premises and agrees not to hold lessor

liable for any latent defects that might exist on the premises.
