3Travel Companion Program
The Travel Companion program at DGS is a great way for you to share your pass travel
privileges with a family member or a friend who is personally known to you. Your Travel
Companion receives the same stand-by boarding priority and pass allotments as you do as an
employee, but is required to purchase a reduced-rate yield fare ticket prior to travel.
Your initials below acknowledge your agreement with the terms and conditions of the DGS
Travel Companion program as well as policy and procedures stated on the TravelNet website
( ).
Please initial each:
_____ My Travel Companion is a friend or family member with whom I plan to travel in the
future.
_____ I have not and will not receive payment of any kind in agreement for adding this person
as my Travel Companion.
_____ I have not been solicited to add a Travel Companion to my pass privileges who is not a
personal friend or family member.
_____ I acknowledge I will be responsible to list all my eligible pass riders in my TravelNet
account, since DGS policy prohibits passwords being shared with anyone.
_____ I understand the pass program is for pleasure travel only.
_____ I acknowledge I am responsible for the actions of all my pass riders and their
knowledge of pass policy and procedure when travelling. Failure by me or my pass riders to
follow this policy and procedure will result in loss of my pass travel privileges and can result
in termination of my employment.
