PLEASE NOTE: As per the Dog Act 1976 (Amended) ‘A person must not transfer the ownership of a dog
that is not microchipped’. The change of ownership will not be accepted until a microchip number has
been provided.
As per the Cat Act 2011 ‘A person must not transfer a cat that is not microchipped’. ‘A person must not
transfer a cat that is not sterilised’. The change of ownership will be not accepted until a microchip
number and proof of sterilisation has been provided.
