school. Worked for Annodam Aveda Day Spa & Salon in Doylestown, PA for 1 ½ years after receiving certificate then moved on to Zanya Salon &

Spa in Lambertville, NJ. Successfully started private practice called Energy Rising Massage Therapy ( ) and built clinical

skills. Served as Department Chair & Lead Instructor for Mildred Elley’s Massage Therapy Program in Pittsfield, MA for 2 ½ years: Teaching

courses, recruiting talent, managing faculty, advising students and writing curriculum. Excelled in the teaching of Kinesiology and hands-on courses

explaining to students how to create structural change by combining this knowledge.

Completed a five month/full-time training in August, 2010 at Center for Natural Wellness in Albany, NY. Trained in various aspects of Swedish and

integrative massage including neuromuscular/trigger point therapy, craniosacral, myofascial release and deep tissue. Pursued training in Thai

massage and shiatsu involving individualized mentorships with Dale Cobb to build Thai skills and Rima Sala to improve acupressure and mat-work.

Solid understanding of PNF stretching/muscle energy techniques, postural analysis, hydrotherapy, basic lymphatic drainage as well as sports

massage. Knowledge of Aveda rituals and methods including hot stone massage, wraps and body treatments. B.A. in Philosophy and English, which

has given me the communication skills necessary to work with clients in an atmosphere of trust and consideration.
