PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Greetings to all renewing and new members. We have an exciting year ahead in

2014. Please make note of the upcoming events and be sure they are on your calendar.

I also want to pass along information about a new organization that has formed here in

Wimberley. It is called the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WVACA), not

to be confused with the Wimberley Institute of Cultures.

This new organization is serving as an umbrella group for other non-profits and

businesses that are focused on supporting arts and culture in the Wimberley Valley. By

working together, we can better coordinate activities and information. A new website will

feature a calendar that provides information about all the cultural events taking place. We

appreciate the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce in bringing groups together.
