SPECIAL Instructions for uploading CPR in Schools data and
training numbers to the Community CPR Tracker
The Community CPR Tracker is our new online tool for easy data
reporting and tracking. On the CPR in Schools online toolkit, you can
see a detailed flyer about the Community CPR Tracker and how we will use it to highlight
community CPR events, including your important school events.
Special notes and information for schools:
1. For schools ONLY, you can combine your trainings into ONE entry on the Community
CPR Tracker per school year. You can add trainings as often as you wish, or you may
combine them and enter one training per year with combined numbers of students
trained and event details.
a. Enter the combined date for that training submission as the last date you trained
students.
2. Keep track of your events on individual teacher spreadsheets or tables (sample on p.2)
throughout the year so you have an exact count of students trained (and grade level)
when you visit the Community CPR Tracker website.
a. If you have multiple teachers facilitating CPR trainings you can decide as a team
how you would like to report data. Please be sure everyone knows the plan so
your school, as a whole, accurately reports training numbers. The options are:
i. Each teacher submits his/her own data and attendance verification
document on the Community CPR Tracker.
ii. One lead teacher/champion collects all teacher data on number of
students and grade levels trained and submits one combined entry and
attendance verification document on the Community CPR Tracker per
year, per semester, or other frequency schools choose.
1. If option ii. is chosen, the lead teacher/Champion can answer the
facilitator-specific questions about him or her. We will not get
that information for all facilitators, but entering the info for the
teacher entering info will be sufficient.
iii. Attendance verification documents can be your training numbers tables,
or an attendance verification letter based on these tables that you will
upload to the Community CPR Tracker. We must have proof of
attendance at your trainings when you upload an event. Examples of an
attendance verification letter are available on the Community CPR
Tracker.
Thank you for using the Community CPR Tracker and for training students in CPR!
