It’s great to be with you here in Robinson! Our family is excited to be a part of the body here at Highland.

I wanted to thank each of you for the warm welcome you’ve extended to our whole family. You’ve all done

a wonderful job of “holding down the fort” in the absence of a full-time worship minister. I especially want to

thank Shirley Allison, Sherry Bopp, Brad & Monica Hilderbrand and Beth Meese for all the love and energy

you guys have poured into planning the worship services. You’ve done a great job, and from this moment

forward, I’m doubling your pay. :) So when you run into these guys, give them a hug and tell them thanks!

Each of you play a vital role in the life of this church and I want to thank each of you for your dedication and

willingness to use your gifts for His glory! As sons and daughters of the King, each of us were made to

worship. Through our efforts each week, we help provide an avenue for people to connect with their

Creator. Whether through playing the keys or singing, as we use what He has given us and turn it back

over to Him, both we and the church are blessed and draw closer to Him.

Enclosed you will find a contact sheet. This will help me get things organized, as well as help me get to

know a bit about you. I’d ask that each of you fill it out and return it to the church office. You can simply put

it in the hanging file folders found on the door to my office, or leave it with the office. Also, as some of you

aware, we will be using an online service to help with scheduling and planning our worship services. This

web-based system ( ) is a powerful tool and I think you will find it to be a

great aid. I have been using it for a few years and it has made the worship ministry so much more efficient.

Those of you whose email address I have should have already received an email welcoming you to the site

and explaining how it works. Through this site you can block out dates you aren’t available, look at

upcoming (and past) worship service

orders, download sheet music and listen to mp3’s of songs. This

system requires no software install. All you need is an internet connection. If you have any questions or

concerns, feel free to contact me. And if you do not have internet access, please let me know so we can

figure out an alternative.

I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you better and serving alongside you. If you have any
