This book report takes on the format of a newspaper. Use the following requirements to

design and lay out your book report on poster board. You may use the computer for

printing as well as pictures.

ARTICLES

Summary- Write a summary of your book in a well-developed paragraph. Make sure

your summary answers who, what, where, when and why. Also include a headline.

Main Character- Write a brief article about the main character, including who the

character is, what he/she did, and any interesting things about the character. Draw a

picture of the main character and include a headline.

FEATURES –

Advice Column- Pretend the main character writes a letter to the advice columnist

seeking advice about a problem in the book. Create a headline.

Book Review- Write a review for your book. Explain your likes/dislikes. To whom

would you recommend this book? Create a headline for your review.

Comics- Design a 4 panel comic strip illustrating something funny that happened in

your book. Create a title for the comic. OR

Crossword Puzzle/Word Search- Using

names, places, etc. from the book create a puzzle. This website can be used for creating

puzzles
